On 2FA: If you could do something like Google Authenticator with a random number generator that would be lovely. I have used both that and the send a SMS or send an email with a code and I find the app much easier to deal with because I’m not waiting for something to come in. In fact I don’t actually use the Google Authenticator app I use Authy https://authy.com/blog/authy-vs-google-authenticator/#:~:text=Google%20Authenticator%20is%20only%20available%20on%20mobile%20devices.&text=Authy%20brings%20the%20entire%202FA,iOS%2C%20there's%20no%20desktop%20app. which allows me to access the same code from multiple devices so long as I have the master password. It is very nice. I have about 7 different systems in the app at this point and it is nice to only have one place to look for a code.
Just rendering a personal opinion while you are still evaluating your options.
