Different Shelters In Time of Disaster!

From basic shelters such as caves and lean-to’s to your home such as a well built basement to the standard tornado shelter that is nothing more than a cylinder with an opening buried in the backyard we will discuss all types of shelters that have been used by man to protect themselves for thousands of years and what can we use today if a disaster strikes. Do you have the knowledge to build a temporary shelter for a few days? or do you have a long term plan for sheltering in the event of a major disaster?  Having the ability to build a shelter is only 1/2 of the battle as there are many other aspects to sheltering other than building a lean-to such as fire, food, clean water and much more. After all, what good is a great shelter if you have nothing to eat or drink?
