Whats up team Gunmetal! On this episode of the Gunmetal Armory, we are going to discuss the history of gunsmithing, what was needed to be a gunsmith throughout history, what is needed today, and how to work on specific parts of popular guns. But first, as always, we will discuss the product pick of the week, which may be something from the team at LA Police Gear, or perhaps another company… we shall see. I like to keep you guys and gals in suspense.

We also talk about the events of the week, we may answer some questions, and we will definitely dive head long into any significant political events that happen over the week. Last week we talked about Cody Wilson and the 3D printing of firearms, what that decision means for the internet, and how that decision is effecting “gun control”. Then we will hit our main topic.

We will talk in depth about the history involved in how the guns were made back in the day, how those techniques evolved during the early 1800-1900’s, how mass production changed things completely, and how things are done today. We will also talk about how gunsmithing and manufacturing are different and why both are needed. And then we will get into some simple fixes for some simple gun parts, tools, and how to do them.
