As you may know, during early nuclear research, scientists discovered that a nuclear explosion renders all nearby electronic equipment useless. This effect is fallen Electromagnetic Pulse, or EMP. Since this discovery, many researchers have pondered not only the short term ramifications of this, but the long term as well. Plus , governments have worked on the weaponization of this phenomenon for years. What would its effects be in an increasingly electronic age such as ours? And what would happen if that technology fell into the wrong hands?
