Divide and conquer!
This show may have ruffled a few feathers in chat before our host Chris had his chance to explain the idea of fringe preppers being the voice of the majority. I believe he was dead on. Who knows the actual percentage of preppers that are main stream with the simple goal of independence and self reliance of hoping for the best and preparing for the worst? What I do know is the number is quite high. Unfortunately, it is those on the fringe, the smaller number with the loudest voice, often times portraying preppers as the gun toting rebels looking forward to confrontation whatever it may be.
Personally I believe that preppers as a whole should be a bit more outspoken as to why they prepare, their real concerns and sharing with others their reasons for prepping. Let the main stream prepper community not hide what they do and why but announce it, and be the voice. In doing so media would be forced to portray us as we actually are. Everyday people concerned for their families, there country and their future. Listen below to this episode of “Preppers Poitin Hour”
