After two weeks of dealing with five feet of snow and being caught out of town by a record breaking snowstorm, The Prepared Canadian is back!  This week we will finally get to discuss the different kinds of communications available to us and how each can be used to address different needs.  As well, we will have the five dollar prep tip, news from the blog and the forum, and I will take a look at some of the disasters that Canadians had to endure over the 2012 year.

I will also talk about Mr. Ian Thompson who was charged with four different weapons related charges after using a handgun to defend himself and his home against four attackers with Molotov cocktails and just what this case means for Canadian firearms laws.
