Founding Fathers on Tyranny!

Thomas Jefferson said, “all tyranny needs to gain a foot hold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” … And what I think he meant by that is when good men and women with strong morals and values are confronted with the truth of alternative motives of their government and big business, not conspiracy but facts, and after all that they stay silent, that’s all that darkness needs to consume our lives. Aka, tyranny. But only if they didn’t stay silent things could change.

Another of our founding fathers, James Madison said, “The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home.”He also said, “If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.”In both of those two quotes he stated: that tyranny will be at our front doors, because we will be fighting against a foreign danger. Does that sound familiar…911 and ever since that day in history our government has pasted the Patriot Act, the NDAA, TSA at our airports and highway rest stops, and anywhere else they can put their feet down at. Do I need to mention warrant-less wire taps…? (Hint, NSA)

At the end of all this we may want to read a quote by John Adams, “But a constitution of government once changed from freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.”
I truly believe in this quote: “He that rebels against reason is a real rebel, but he that inference of reason rebel’s against tyranny”- Thomas Paine.
