Democracy in America with “Charlie in the Box“

Democracy in America. In America you have the right to vote, to state your opinion, or your belief’s in the matter of which you are voting on. Gay rights, abortions, or even voting on the representatives that best share your values. How is that democracy been treating you in the last four or five decades. If you wanted to, we could go back even further….a century as a matter of fact. It just doesn’t seem like things are getting better. If I could say so myself, one of our founding fathers had a few things to say about democracies. That was John Adams; he said “Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself.” “There was never a democracy that did not commit suicide.” So this week’s show “Charlie in the Box” will be about Democracy in America and in which direction are we heading towards.
