Home emergency kit, safe storage, and more!
It’s back to basics time again on The Prepared Canadian! From time to time, a surge of new Preppers in the forum prompts me to get back to the basics of prepping. Now is another one of those times. This week, we will take a look at putting together a very basic home emergency kit. I’ll explain some of the options available to the beginner for water & food storage, as well as the basics of keeping up to date with news, keeping warm, and having light and cooking ability. Of course, more experienced Preppers should listen in also, as many will have all but forgotten about their emergency kit and what’s in it. If your new to prepping, or have been prepping for years, there is something in this show for everyone.
Also, I give a shout out about the upcoming Ontario Provincial Meet, and will also talk about a couple of projects I am working on, such as a dipole CB antenna and a 12VDC generator built from an old lawnmower and a car alternator.
