Just hear those sleigh bells jinglin’ ring ting tinglin too!  Come on and join the girls for another episode of the Homestead Honey Hour.  The holidays are upon us and there is no better time of year to take advantage of great buys on all sorts of ingredients to stow away in your food storage than right now.  Some people may scoff at some of us who choose to store what would be considered luxury items such as chocolate chips, nut meats, brown sugar, canned pumpkin, sweet potatoes and evaporated or condensed milk.  However, these ingredients are used year round, not just at the holidays to make special treats.  Most of them are nutritious, delicious and add an important part to your food storage, not to mention the ability to avoid appetite fatigue!  So lets all talk about what to buy, the best way to buy and the best way to store some of these yummy and important items for the holidays and for everyday!
