In the 2nd segment, I am going to be covering all of the economic news items from the past week.

For this show, we are going to go over preparation for Hurricane Irma. As of Sat. 9/2/2017 forecasts are still unclear. There are some models that show an Atlantic coast hit. There are even some out there predicting that Irma may exceed Cat 4 and could be one of the most powerful storms to ever hit the US.

My experience with Sandy, combined with the recent devastation from Harvey should provide all listeners from Florida up to New England with good information on how to get prepared. We must assume that there is a possibility of a direct hit. That is how I’m preparing. We’re going to cover basic preps and discuss things like sandbags and how to prepare for flooding.

Where I live, flooding is a great concern, so we’ll go over as much information as possible as well as looking at real time forecast models the night of the show.
