On this week’s episode of the Prepping for Tomorrow program with Author Bobby Akart, experienced prepper and post-apocalyptic author, Franklin Horton, will be my special guest.

Franklin Horton lives and writes in the mountainsof southwestern Virginia.  He attended Virginia Intermont College and Virginia Commonwealth University.   In his spare time he pursues outdoor adventures with his wife and two children.  His interests include camping, kayaking, backpacking, mountain biking, and shooting.

He is also a committed prepper. He and his wife lead a preparedness lifestyle which helps him lend realism to his incredibly successfulBorrowed World Series. Franklin and I will discuss the threats we face as a nation with a particular emphasis of a potential terrorist attack against our power grid.

We’ll discuss his hugely successful series which was began with Book One, THE BORROWED WORLD, an Top 5 Amazon bestseller in both Post-Apocalyptic Fiction and Dystopian Science Fiction during the summer of 2015.  The next book in the series, ASHES OF THE UNSPEAKABLE, was released in October of 2015 and rose up the Amazon bestseller charts to reach the Top 10 in both categories again. Franklin’s third book, Legion of Despair, is slated for release on April 8, 2016, although the paperback edition is available on Amazon now.
