In The Boston Brahmin series, Professor Henry Sargent (“Sarge”) has become nationally recognized for his libertarian writings and especially his views on the sovereignty crisis our nation faces. As the series progresses, he has the opportunity to interact with some of the nation’s governors and warns them about the continued challenges their states face from an ever-expanding federal government.

In THE LOYAL NINE, book one of the Boston Brahmin series, Sarge released his new book entitled: CHOOSE FREEDOM OR CAPITULATION: AMERICA’S SOVEREIGNTY CRISIS.  When Bobby wrote this subplot into the series, he had no idea how popular this aspect of story would become. Bobby’s had numerous requests to write CHOOSE FREEDOM. This is a presidential election year, and typically national issues come to the forefront.

However, freedom is more than just a right we enjoy as Americans. The concept is also something we should strive for in our personal lives. True freedom can only be achieved when you are beholden to no one, and you’re a slave to nothing—job, house, car payments, or other people.

We also discuss a topic that has been in the news a lot lately. Freedom of opinion, expression, and protest has been raised in the public debate over the last several years from the #BlackLivesMatter movement to most recently, sports figures kneeling in protest during the playing of our National Anthem. Is this a treasonous display or a right of free speech? Are you part of the silent majority who is disgusted by these antics?

On this special edition of the Prepping for Tomorrow, we discuss the concept of CHOOSE FREEDOM and what it means to us on a personal level, and as Americans. As always, we’ll relate the entire discussion to prepping. The key is self-reliance.
